05/02/2023, 5:21 AMhello everyone , is it recommended to use sharding to horizantally scale the clickhouse cluster over multiple nodes if data ingestion requirement in db can max reach to 7200gb that is retainable and to be queried to display metrics/traces or it will be better to keep clickhouse in single node with required storage , just want to anaylse the performance trade offs .

05/02/2023, 7:15 AMSharding introduces upto 20% latency increase compared to single machine. So you can afford single machine then go with with single machine or go with sharding.
