A simple way could be to use <https://github.com/prometheus/node_exporter> to expose  machine metrics in prometheus format and then specifying target endpoints as mentioned <https://signoz.io/docs/userguide/send-metrics/#enable-a-prometheus-receiver|here> in the otel collector which comes installed with SigNoz ( in your case in VM-0)
