bit weird. I have set the retention settings to 3 days for logs, metrics and traces. But I can see data older than 7 days. screen capture 2 has data from 9 and 10 of this month.

was your retention previously set to 7 days? When you change it, it doesn't update existing data.

The ttl in helm was set to 7 days during installation and retention period in UI was modified to 3 days a day later.

i guess anything ingested between installation and "a day later" would have 7 day retention..

i get that. My installation is 12 day old, so any data older than 3 day not should be truncated. I will log a ticket if thats a bug.
