In the new Metrics Explorer that was recently added to SigNoz cloud, I was hoping that the summary view would have a nice way to filter the metrics by name, but it seems that this isn't the case. It would be really nice to be able to filter all metrics in the list to see what exists and see their types and descriptions. The only way I've found to do this is to go into the explorer and create a new query. From here you can type in the Metric textbox to filter on the metric name and you'll see a list of matches. This works, of course, but the one thing you don't see here is the metric description. Have I perhaps missed something in the summary view?
The "Proportion View" is also pretty useless unless you switch to Light Mode:

Hi Chris 1. If you want to search by metric name, you can use the search feature present in the metric name column header in the table. 2. As for the proportion view, this is an unexpected behaviour. Let me take a look at it and get back to you. Could you please share what web browser you are using? And if you're are using chrome, are you using any dark mode extensions that may forcefully change colors in a website? Other than that, I understand that the current UX may have been confusing/unhelpful. Other than the search feature, are there any other pain points for you? We'd love to get your feedback and improve upon it in future iterations.

Hey Amlan, thanks for the quick reply! 1. I totally didn't spot the search icon next to the metric column there - that's exactly what I was looking for - thanks! 2. I'm on MacOS, and I am using LibreWolf. I see the same behaviour in Firefox, unsurprisingly. The view in Chrome looks correct as per your screenshot

Got it. Thanks for letting me know. I'll get back to you on the fix for #2.
