We haven't actually tried monitoring our clickhouse instances with SigNoz - but that seems like an interesting idea. Let me check more on this and get back. Is ClickHouse your main datastore?

you can also export the metrics in prometheus format and let signoz's otel-collector scrape it using prometheus receiver

This docs is for sending trace data. This can export data in zipkin format which too SigNoz can ingest. But using the URL engine is not the most optimized way to do this. If you do not deal with high volume of data, you can use it.

Correct..prometheus exporter will just provide metrics and not traces... for traces you need to do https://clickhouse.com/docs/en/operations/opentelemetry/#integration-with-monitoring-systems
