My name is Douglas, 32yro and I’m based in Brazil.

I work for a startup centered around the financial market, investments and individual investors. My background ranges from telecommunications, networks, automation of networking systems, security of systems and networks, devops and SRE (now).

I was looking for an open source tool to solve both problems in app monitoring, metrics and tracing. Fortunately I’ve found SigNoz. Don’t tried already, but I’ve shared among my team for further development.

we are trying to reduce costs (at any cost &gt;.&lt;) because we started not optimizing resources and want an in-house solution for APM that doesn’t rely on traffic to another vendor premises, because we handle sensitive information inside most of our app components.
