Would you recommend doing the data migration of signoz_migrate-55-data if there is about 3 months of data to migrate? Or should I just wait until the TTL time is passed?

Depends on how much data you have , if it’s around 1-2 billion it will take around 30-40 hours , if you give 1GB Ram and 1 CPU to the the migrator. If you are using resource filters in your search/dashboards/alerts then go ahead with migration it will be a significant increase in performance.

Thanks that is helpful...we don't do much resource filters that I have felt there is a performance issue and we have about 5.5 billion rows. So I will hold off for now.

this will make sure that data is filled with correct ttl to the new table and you will be switch to to the new table with or without migration, when you want

For sure...I did do that....And I manually updated the logs_v2 ttl back in July
