I resolved this myself, all I had to do was also install the k8s-infra chart (https://github.com/SigNoz/charts/tree/main/charts/k8s-infra) and set the otel exporter service endpoint correctly. I missed that initially because most websites and docs still mention that the signoz chart installs this as well, which isn't the case anymore. Now that I see the metrics it's great. Very nice product and honestly exactly what we needed. This is very well done 👏
