Hi @Ankit Nayan, is there any way to import alerts from yaml or some kind of configuration into signoz ?
a
why do you need to do that? If at all we will be supporting loading alerts from yaml for signoz specific structure only
a
Like i have multiple clients. so some clients need some alerts to enables and some need another type of alerts. So depending on the client i need to enable those alerts and remaining as disabled for each client
a
and how will loading from yaml help that? I guess you are receiving data and setting alerts of both the clients to the same signoz instance?
or are you running signoz for each of your client?
a
we will be running signoz for each client. for example. Client A running alerts for one particular API. now he needs to derive another alert for different API. So how can we resolve this situation with out touching the alert screens from signoz and just restart the signoz so that it will load from db or kind of configuration file and trigger alerts for 2 API's?
a
hmm...that's correctly understood usecase of config file
Some body else raised an issue too I think https://github.com/SigNoz/signoz/issues/1273
a
but do we have any solution for this ?
a
not today 😞
