Hello, I am currently reading prisma metrics in prometheus format using
prisma.$metrics.prometheus()
I want to migrate from a pull to a push model to
signoz-otel-collector
Reading through the docs, it seems that it needs OTLP format but I cannot find any documentation on the OTLP format and the data model behind it Does anyone have some documentation on this topic? I figured I can also use https://open-telemetry.github.io/opentelemetry-js/classes/_opentelemetry_sdk_metrics.PeriodicExportingMetricReader.html to help export to
signoz-otel-collector
=> Does this qualify as best pratice for my use case? thank you all for your help!

Does prisma support any other protocol other than Prometheus?

@Srikanth Chekuri I have one more question, if I want to send the metrics in prometheus format (instead of scrapping them), do I still send to
signoz-otel-collector
?

The signoz-otel-collector is the point of data ingestion. By design prometheus metrics must be scraped (there is no pushgateway for prometheus in collector). The json data should be converted to OTLP and then should be sent to signoz-otel-collector.
