Thank you Signoz team for building a wonderful product! A few of our customers are using signoz and are loving it. Self hosting it is a recurring ask, so we put together a guide for setting up signoz using Argonaut with working samples! The guide is here - https://www.argonaut.dev/docs/guides/apps/signoz Context: I'm the founder of Argonaut (YC S21). Argonaut is an internal dev platform for full automation of infra management and app deployments on aws/gcp. Monitoring your apps deployed to Argonaut is super easy because of the integrations with Signoz.

Hey @Surya Oruganti that's awesome to hear. Would give the guide a read 🙂
Is the integration closed source?
s
Argonaut is closed source, but the integration is essentially helm charts running on the user's k8s cluster.
lmk if you think there should be any changes in the configs
a
hmm... I was thinking we could update the helm chart from time to time to keep signoz latest and if users had some issues, we could address. Nevermind
someday maybe you could opensource your integration side to outsource maintenance tasks to the community

That is something we are looking to do in the next 6 months btw, under our "improving collaboration" initiative.
On a slightly unrelated note, appsmith does auto-updates for their self-hosted versions of the app. I've found that to be curious, though it comes at the cost of immutability at some level.

That must be optional to be enabled if at all. Enterprise users have huge resistant in changing versions unless necessary. And some releases might have change of UX which we should not update without a check of resistance and stability. But it definitely will be useful for small users who want to stay updated with ease. Thanks for bringing up an interesting point
