Hi everyone ! 👋 Just bumped into this specific statement (see below) in the FAQ and was wondering if we have any news on this kind of feature ? AFAIK, I didn't see it on the public roadmap.
Though Honeycomb does have some features like Bubble up and correlation which we don't have currently, but we have some advanced correlation based features in our roadmap
Also is it possible to visualise trace aggregates as heatmaps ? If no, is it planned on the roadmap ? Have a nice day you all 🙂

Also is it possible to visualise trace aggregates as heatmaps
hey @Valentin Levier as of now, this is not planned in our roadmap. Can you share more on what use case you are trying to solved and how does trace aggregates as heatmap will help? If you have screenshots from other products which you like, please feel free to share

Hey ! Sure, you can find features such as "_*bubble-up*_" in other opensource solutions like coroot and hyperdx (see attached screenshots). It's really useful to identify patterns on a selected window of "bad" events (e.g: slow spans or errored spans) Also, Heatmaps really helps visualize the data in its entirety and allow you to get a global distribution of ALL your events (spans for example) without having to compute them with an aggregation function like P99, AVG, MAX etc

Same here! Bubble-up has been a game changer for us and is extremely helpful for root cause analysis. It’s definitely something we’d consider a must-have when evaluating tools to migrate to. Having that kind of visibility would be a huge value-add.
