@User do you have more insights on this?
p
@User Can you verify the frontend service name? It should be
<release-name>-signoz-frontend
unless you names your release as
signoz
. Also, I am guessing that you should mention the namespace for the service.
n
So i am using the helm chart to deploy
I can reach and do everything fine if i make use of tools.localhost .... (i do this bay changing the route in the ingress) but the moment i move to a subfolder in the path the front end is not happy with it
i am also able to acces the front end by doing port forwarding
So this is happening because the frontend believes that it will always be on the root folder / path of /
p
Right… sounds like the problem with path.. We should opt or have option to use relative paths..
n
yeah
i went through the helmfile and also the code
p
Could you please create an issue for the same?
n
I could not find a way to tell it that it is on a different path unles you rebuild
ok cool will do
will the be a feature request ?
p
yes
you can mention in the feature request it is related to an issue that you are seeing
n
will do it either later today or tomorrow
thank you for the assistance
