I didn't quite get that. Do you mean keeping different versions of objects? That's likely not the scenario.

You can set up the traces/metrics/log data TTL duration and another duration after which data is moved from default disk/volume to cold storage (s3) which would be less than "TTL duration".

For example, you have set TTL to 10m and Move to Cold storage as 5m.

In that scenario of tiered volume policy, you get an aggregated response from last 5m data from default disk and 5m prior data from cold storage when  last 10 min data is queried.
