hello. I couldn't find any storage requirement in the documentation. it could be of course based on our data retention and needs but for self-hosted, how 7 day (default) data retention works? currently we have around 850 GB ingested data on new relic and we pay around (PAYG) $400. that is all logs related cost. when I use this tool https://signoz.io/pricing/#estimate-your-monthly-bill and set Logs to 850 it's around $250. and this amount is without traces and metrics. so I'm wondering is it going to be same price as we currently have? because if SigNoz costs us around $250/mo, instead of managing an optimum dedicated server, I'd chose SigNoz cloud. on the other hand, if it is going to cost same as new relic, why do I need to do that

@Ridvan Yeah, 850GB logs per month with 15 day retention will cost ~$250/month
You can just signup for our cloud plan here - https://signoz.io/teams/
It has a 30 day free trial as well to check out the product

I want to give a try with self-hosted and I'm not big fan of newrelic or datadog, I hate both of their dashboards to be honest. let's see how it goes

Curious, what you hate about their dashboards?

it's total mess for me. the UX gives me nothing but stress
SigNoz is an open-source APM. It helps developers monitor their applications & troubleshoot problems, an open-source alternative to DataDog, NewRelic, etc.
