Hi channel, does anyone know the upper limit on span count in trace that signoz UI can inspect properly? I have a trace with 9k spans and signoz was not able load the inspection for each span.

In Community version of SigNoz upto 5k span size trace work fine. Over that there can be considerable performance issue depending on host machine.

@Vishal Sharma Thanks for the reply. What feature in the host machine could influence the performance for traces more than 5k span? Does increase the CPU and Memory assigned to the pod improve?

Host machine performance is not a blocker mostly. Blocker is loading whole trace in browser UI. In enterprise self hosted or normal cloud plan we show large traces in different limited view.

Is there anyway we could partially load the trace using the 5k limit?

That's only available in enterprise version
