Hi, I need advice on Alert Metrics Definition. I am using SigNoz OSS v0.45 and found that the UI for alert metric definition created from the Alert Rules directly using the “New Alert” button is different from the alert created from the Dashboard. When creating an alert from the Dashboard, the metrics allow you to choose functions such as

Hist_quantile_99

. However, when creating an alert directly from the Alert Rules page, there is no option to do so in the UI. How can I make the alert metrics definition the same as the alert created from the Dashboard? Any advice is welcome. Thank you.

They both give same result. The

hist_quantile_99

is the old builder representation.

Thank you for your response, Srikanth. I experienced a different result but not sure it was because the incorrect query or not . Need to test again. I hope the alert created from the dashboard should be updated to be the same way as creating in the alert rules screen directly.
