We are currently testing Signoz via a self-hosted instance. Looking at SaaS-based hosting costs, the pricing is based on rates of ingestion. My question is how can we determine our current rates of ingestion as part of our testing? I'm not seeing any clear metrics as part of the collector metrics that might give us that information. Without knowing those numbers, it will be difficult for me to make a case to my company for the budget to use the SaaS hosting for our production instance.

What parts of the product do you mainly use?

We are currently instrumenting our C# services and apps. We are using spans, metrics and logs. Not sure what else you are asking for?

Ok, so you all the signals. I was asking if you use one signal over the other. One way to get a good idea of the potential volume is to look at the counts. You can see traces count in
Usage Explorer
and log explorer shows the bar chart for last X time so you could get some idea by selecting last 30 days.

Is there any way to translate that into amount of data ingested? I expect we will likely have more logs than metrics and that would drive more data ingested
