replacing Splunk, why do I feel a lot of us are about to do that

splunk, cloudwatch, datadog, potentially all of these and more

splunk, cloudwatch, newrelic, and a managed service provider alerting system over here 🙂 As a Splunk Architect, it pains me but the costs from all of these vendors is out of hand

i like splunk. one of my best friends is an architect over there. considered ending up there myself. but yeah.... the $$$ and now the acquisition....
