01/03/2024, 6:16 PMReally, its just a bunch of little annoyances in the UI that add up. Like, if you have a bunch of similar metrics you want to graph, there's no way to duplicate one and change the one thing, you have to "+ Query" and click 20 times to set it up.

01/03/2024, 6:19 PMIn the time range picker, my choices are "Last 1 hour", 6 hours and 1 day. I often want smaller granularity like 3 hours or 12 hours. Grafana also has options like "since midnight" or "since start of week" or "since 6am today", which I find useful for dashboards.

01/03/2024, 6:20 PMIf I drag a region on a chart on the dashboard, it zooms in to that range, which is useful, but it doesn't update history so when I hit "back" on the browser it takes me to the dashboard list, instead of the previous time range

01/03/2024, 6:21 PMI wish it did "save layout" automatically. If I rearrange some panels, then edit one, then come back to the dashboard, all my rearranging is forgotten. I find myself just hitting "save layout" after every change I make.

I could set up a few panels that would take a variable, then set up the dashboard to automatically repeat those panels for every value of the variable. Like if I have a few queue/job stats panels, then I set them up once and use a variable for all my queue names.
