Hi team this is a newbie question but may I ask what does it means when one of my service in service map is highlighted as red? I saw red lines/connection in the documentation but not the service as red. All BA, BB and BD service are connecting to AA service

It means there are errors occurring in that service.

Is my understanding correct that the errors are related to service BA, BB and BD cause the line connected to service AA are in red? Thanks for answering my first question btw

The error in the highlighted service has requests originating from the highlighted lines.

I see thanks. Last question I have notice that there are different colors in highlighted lines aside from red, do they means something? Green, blue and light blue sorry but I did not see any legend or reference of the line colors on the documentation only for the color red

I don’t think the rest of the colors have any meaning.

Hey, i have some more questions on how to interpret the service map I understand that the edge is of color red when errors has occured or if latency is high as per documentation online My questions are: • What is the threshold in terms of latency that is used to determine if an edge color is red or not? • Is there a way to know if the red color of the edge is because of high latency or errors?

• What is the threshold in terms of latency that is used to determine if an edge color is red or not?
It is independent of latency. It is red if there is an error, regardless of the latency number.
• Is there a way to know if the red color of the edge is because of high latency or errors?
It is because of errors.
