Hi everyone, I'm trying to add nested span into my trace, It works, but nested span show outside the parent also like a new operation. I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if it's the best way, someone helps me? I'm using PHP with Laravel. Hi Team, On the traces Page on the UI, If i filter based on the tag attributes, no.of pages of the traces and the filters on the left like status, serviceName, operation are not being updated. Is this expected as these are 2 different types of filters on the traces?

Is it possible to sort entries on the hover popover for graphs? So that when I hover over a timestamp I can see what operation takes the most time. Because currently it seems like it is unsorted and it would help a lot while using it if it is sorted

I want to limit the no.of entries for the variables in the dashboard. I can do it with time range filter, but the SIGNOZ_START_TIME and SIGNOZ_END_TIME variables are not being recognized while defining the query for the variables. Is there any other way to do it?

I'm using kuberenetes for our application. It can have max 8 pods. I've used manual instrumentation for taking the input tps value as a gauge metrics and each pod is exporting via http exporter every second. But once we're getting the graph for TPS VS time, its showing values of only 1 pod per second. I need to know the total TPS value of n pods per second and not just one pod. I tried SUM aggregation but it's not giving me correct value. Can someone support?

I added the pod name as one of the Attribute then it showed the tps values of each pod. But i need one curve which should add the tps values of each pod and show the graph

Hi all, AWS restarted our EC2 (with our SigNoz instance) to do some updates, and we lost some of our settings (like dashboards and alerts). We have added them manually again, but I want to backup them and can’t find docs on this 😞 Can someone point me what is best option to backup our settings? (we installed SigNoz over docker) Thanks

Hey! I'm experiencing some issues with signoz running on DigitalOcean k8s. Yesterday I woke up, checked my monitoring dashboard, and saw no data. I checked the k8s dashboard and found some failed services (it said something like

) and decided that I needed to update from v0.18 to v0.19 anyway, so I did an upgrade. Some services are pending, and

Starting up signoz without hotrod using the default docker standalone install, the logs are flodded with messages from clickhouse. This seems wrong? I can't get a basic django app instrumented but if I want to know about how many rows clickhouse has read I'm all set

The weirdest thing is the logs from clickhouse aren't namespaced by service, so I can't mute them either. Seems like the first thing you'd want to do is mute spam generated by your monitoring solution.

Ah, this looks like part of the problem:

By default, the otel-collector just hoovers up all docker container logs. Spam everywhere.
