Hi Team, we recently pushed Signoz to our production services (was in closed testing) 🎉 , getting these metrics in the dashboard, the External call Error percentage is looking like this, also the name to which external call is not mentioned, what to make with this data ?

Hi all 🙂 I'm in need of help, I'm trying to run Signoz on an Azure AKS cluster with an external clickhouse database. Everything seems to startup, but otel-collector and otel-collector-metrics throws an error

error connecting to primary db: code: 170, message: Requested cluster 'cluster' not found

I've set the

clusterName

and the

global.clusterName

. Most other settings are default.

. I'm using latest helm chart. Am I doing something wrong or missing some configuration?

Hey, anyone know if it's possible to send logs to signoz from a Ruby application? I could not find any examples of this in the documentation

Is there a well-defined spec for what format logs should be in to be collected by SigNoz? It seems SigNoz expects the JSON to contain specific keys.

Hi team, I am using MongoDB atlas for our DB hosting, I checked Signoz docs and the doc mentioned the steps in case the DB instance is running in our own server, is there any easy way to send Mongo query time taking data to Signoz dashboard if we use Atlas ?

Hi Team, i'm trying to use signoz for the first time and but i'm trying to config the auto-instrumentation for my java applications, but the unfortunaly when I add the annotations, the services or traces don't show at signoz page, I try to test my collector using the troubleshoot tool, and appears to be working fine, but never work with my pods. Any tip? PS: I already use the side car and instrumentation instance options and using k8s and trying to trace k8s pods

Hi im trying to use Signoz and Opentelemetry in a frontend(Angular) and in a my proxy/middleware (nodejs). For the Angular part I follow carefuly the documentation and the services doesn’t appear on the Signoz dashboard. Then I decided to trace things on the NodeJs part and im getting this issue:

i'm testing an application where i have 20 clusters around the world, feeding them through a single signoz collector then to clickhouse is a huge bottleneck. if i can deploy the k8s-infra chart into each cluster which directly writes to clickhouse then i just need 1 deployment of signoz in the data cluster to visualize. is this going to cause an issue? does the signoz collector have anything special?
